Senior Associate — Mergers & Acquisitions

Sterling & Ghold LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice group in our New York office. The successful candidate will work alongside partners and senior counsel advising public and private companies on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary agreements; advising clients on deal structure, regulatory requirements, and board processes; supervising junior associates and coordinating due diligence workstreams.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; top academic credentials required
• 4–6 years of M&A transactional experience at a leading law firm
• Admission to the New York Bar
• Experience with public company M&A, including SEC reporting requirements, strongly preferred
• Exceptional drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
