Counsel — White Collar Defense & Investigations

Sterling & Ghold's White Collar Defense & Investigations team in Washington, D.C. invites applications from experienced Counsel. The practice advises corporations and individuals in connection with federal and state criminal investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal investigations.

The successful candidate will manage matters from initial government contact through resolution, coordinate with in-house legal teams, and appear before the DOJ, SEC, CFTC, and other federal agencies. The role carries significant client relationship responsibility and offers a clear path to partnership.

• J.D.; excellent academic record
• 7+ years of experience, including time at the DOJ, U.S. Attorney's Office, or relevant regulatory agency
• Admission to the D.C. Bar required
• Deep knowledge of the FCPA, securities laws, and federal criminal procedure
• Strong relationships with government enforcement agencies preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional matters
