Associate — Labor & Employment
The Labor & Employment group in our Washington, D.C. office is seeking an associate to advise employers on the full spectrum of employment law matters. The practice serves Fortune 500 clients, financial institutions, and technology companies in connection with discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour matters, non-compete enforcement, and traditional labour relations.
The candidate will also advise on employment aspects of M&A transactions, including WARN Act compliance, benefits integration, and executive compensation matters.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school; strong academic record
- 1–3 years of employment law experience at a law firm or government agency
- D.C. Bar admission (or eligibility) required
- Experience with NLRA matters or traditional labour law a plus
- Excellent client-facing and written communication skills
